The Ox 1, designed primarily for domestic use for logs up to 55 cm in length, excels on account of its safety standards and technical perfection to a professional level.
An exceptional high safety standard is - by the two handed operating system. This means that neither hand can leave the “safety zone” whilst splitting is in operation. The splitting wedge slices through even the toughest wood and the two way hydraulic cylinder quickly returns the wedge back to its original upper position. Thicker logs can be split into four pieces using the cross shaped wedge, optional.
Stable torsion-resistant steel construction, hydraulic installation with retro-cylinder, two handed safety control with hand guard, continuously adjustable hand-riser, swivel-table with safety clamp, wood holding device, transverses mechanism.
The swing out table can be used if logs were not split all the way through on the first attempt.
